Today I’ll be sharing with you my experience using the Black Opal Even True Conceal and Brighten under-eye concealer. Long name right!

So, I don’t believe I’ve ever used any Black Opal products, so for me, this is something completely new. Not too long ago Black Opal revamped their packaging and came out with some new products including this under-eye concealer and their Even True Pore Perfecting Foundation, which I’m really excited to try (because of its pore perfecting claim).

First I will speak to the packaging of the product and I must say, the packaging is small and sleek and that’s about it.

The tube comes with a rollerball applicator which is supposed to help in getting rid of under-eye puffiness and refreshing the eye area. The rollerball actually feels cool when applied to the skin which is speaks to it being able to de-puff the eyes.

There are six (6) shades in this concealer: sand (lightest), honey, toast, tan, beautiful bronze and mahogany (darkest). Having a light medium complexion, according to Black Opal, I use the shade honey.

The concealer is very creamy so it will keep your under-eyes moist. The product definitely diminishes the appearance of under-eye bags and dark circles without using a lot. It gives a subtle highlight, brightening up the eyes, making you look awake.

If blended well, possibly this can be worn with a pressed powder for a natural make up look.

TIP: Blend the product and set immediately to prevent creasing.
