So many of us have taken the leap over the past 2 years to do a “Big Chop” and go Natural. It can be super frustrating at times, especially if you have a Teeny Weeny Afro (TWA) and not sure what you can do to style it.
Well today i’m about to introduce you to a new method called Sponge Coils. To achieve the look you will need a spray bottle with a water and natural oils mix (i use Argan, Olive, Jojoba and (a little) Tea Tree oils), Shea Moisture Curling Souffle and a porous sponge.

Hey, great tip… the short her suit you and welcome to natural hair, it’s very exciting to see more people going natural, now i see the result are great but as you are using light colour sponge! that doesn’t leave lint in your hair?

It doesn’t seem that lint was transferred, particularly because of the products used such as oil, water and the Curling Souffle would help to reduce the chance of sponge pieces being left in the hair.
