Milani is slowly but surely becoming one of my favourite cosmetic brands. Not only are the products affordable but they are highly pigmented and just… beautiful! Matte lipsticks have definitely been a go-to for me ever since I was introduced to them. Unfortunately, one thing closely associated with matte lipsticks is dryness. I love a bold long lasting lip colour that doesn’t dry my lips out after 5 minutes of applying it and the Milani Color Statement Moisture Matte Lipsticks have become my go to matte lipsticks!
The packaging of these lipsticks is gold and sleek, you can see the colour of the lipstick quite clearly so you don’t need to open it to know what colour you are getting and the lipsticks swivel all the way down so there is little room for mess.
These lipsticks apply so smooth and creamy! With two swipes you’re able to achieve vivid colour, leaving your lips stunning. Milani matte lipsticks are long-lasting and trust me, they do not dry your lips out. Unfortunately, they’ll transfer if you touch your lips but they’re still matte. The lipsticks have a vanilla scent and are not at all offending. I absolutely love that the product is vegan and with 16 beautiful shades there are definitely a few out there for you and if you think it can’t fit, never say never, go ahead and line your lips with a soft brown or flesh-toned lip liner and blend, darling.
I loved all of these lipsticks. I used a lip liner for Matte Naked, Matte Blissful and Matte Darling since they’re a little on the light side for me.
Never did I think I would like a purple lipstick but Matte Glam has changed that. This lipstick isn’t too bright so it doesn’t look crazy when you apply it. One or two swipes of this shade and I’m good.
Matte Passion was another one that really surprised me because it looked very orange in the tube and I’m not really into orange toned lipsticks. But this one!… It looked amazing. More like an orange-toned red. Definitely one I will be going back to.
Matte Confident, Matte Fearless, Matte Naked and Matte Flirty were just beautiful and have become staples for me.
