Hello loves! I recently got the chance to try Revlon’s Ultra HD lipsticks. These lipsticks are made from a unique, wax-free gel formula which results in them being highly pigmented, achieving vivid colour in one smooth swipe. They come in 20 shades and I will be sharing my thoughts on 8 of the 20. I was attracted to these lipsticks because of the shade variety and the fact that many of these shades look great on medium to dark skin tones.
The shades I will be using to do my review are Dahlia, Iris, Magnolia, Petunia, Rose and Snapdragon; see a trend here? Comment below 🙂
Dahlia! A beautiful red with a hint of brown giving it a little depth. This lipstick is for every confident woman who just feels good about themselves. Want a switch up from the usual everyday red lipstick, give Dahlia a try.
Iris is a mixture of pink and purple and is great for date night.

Magnolia is a light pinky nude, every day colour; if you just want a little flush of colour to put your look together.
Petunia is Iris’ sister (lol). They are definitely close colours, however, petunia has more pink pigments while Iris is more purple or a deeper pink. Both, still beautiful.
Rose is a subtle pink colour. Don’t use too much! Or it will be too much. Pair this with a flesh toned lip liner if you have the slightest thought that it may be a little light for you, but trust me! It’s a must have.
Snapdragon is a very subtle brown/nude colour.
Pros
All these somewhat shimmery lipsticks glide smoothly onto the lips and trust me when I say, they feel wonderful! They are extremely moisturizing! They actually feel like a lip balm so I don’t have to put lip balm on before applying the lipsticks and the colours are definitely as vivid as claimed. They have a mild scent and should you lick your lips while wearing them, you’ll find that they have a sweet taste.
Cons
The Revlon Ultra HD lipsticks wear well, however, don’t leave your house without it as you’ll need to do a little touch up after eating and drinking. Unfortunately, the lipstick is transferrable, so be careful not to get it on your clothes, though they easily wash out if they do.
TIP: Use a lip liner to prevent the lipstick from bleeding!
